This course presents how children and youth can be impacted by climate change, how their resilience to climate change can be strengthened, and how they can act on climate change. It contains one module which takes around 2 hours to complete. You need to pass a quiz after the module to receive your certificate from UNICEF and UNITAR.

Climate change impacts on the lives of children in many challenging ways. This course introduces participants to the ways in which children’s resilience to climate change can be strengthened. It also looks at the empowerment of children as actors of change, and the governments’ role in child protection.

This course presents how children and youth can be impacted by climate change, how their resilience can be strengthened, and how they can act to address this challenge. It consists of a module divided into five sections and takes around 2 hours to complete.

Our learning platform is created specifically to avail climate action tools, lessons and concepts that children (ages 8 to 18) and young people can use to help combat climate change through climate smart agriculture.
